International poetry competition for young people
The Association Poetry and Solidarity (Trieste , Italy) promotes the project “Poetry and Solidarity: Languages of the peoples” consisting in the International Poetry Competition Castello di Duino, reserved to young people under 30 years of age (participation free, the poems will be evaluated also in the mother tongue of participants) and furthermore the “World Youth Forum ‘Right to Dialogue’ “.
The ITALIAN COMMISSION OF UNESCO considered the INTERNATIONAL POETRY COMPETITION CASTELLO DI DUINO the BEST INTERNATIONAL PROJECT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.
In attachment find please the announcement of the 8th edition of the competition (deadline 2012, January 7th) which may be read in the webpage www.castellodiduinopoesia.it in 23 languages. Please help us to spread the announcement all around the world by forwarding it through your official channels!
