At least 40 public school teachers from the Philippines were recently treated to a glimpse of what the future of education would look like: vibrant class discussions with multimedia presentations; e-textbooks embedded with innovative and interactive features; quizzes answered, graded, and ranked online, within seconds; students and teachers going paper-less and using mobile computing devices and interactive whiteboards, among other ingenious possibilities.
