FILCOLS' Executive Officer for Membership and Documentation Beverly W. Siy gave a lecture on copyright basics at the PASADO National Conference 2012 last 27 April 2012 at the Angelicum College, Biak na Bato, Quezon City.
The first day of the event was composed of lectures about different types of media such as films and how they can be best utilized in teaching language and literature, copyright and others. There was also a demonstration teaching. Awards night for outstanding performers and players in the film and movie industry was held on the second day.
Professors from the basic education and tertiary educations attended the event.
PASADO or Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro is an organization of teachers from various schools that believes in the power of film to educate and transform the society.
