FILCOLS @ Baguio last Feb 15, 2012






FILCOLS' IP Made EZ was held in JL 205, University of the Philippines Baguio last 15 February 2012. IP Made E-Z is FILCOLS' forum on copyright especially designed for the tertiary students.

About sixty students from different courses graced the event. The program started at 9:30. Gerald Paul Bandonill, the Assistant Vice-President of Literati, delivered the welcome remarks.

FILCOLS' Executive Director Alvin J. Buenaventura gave a talk entitled Copyright is a Human Right. The talk was followed by a performance from SET-UP. Then Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas Chair Abdon Balde, Jr. was featured next with his lecture on writing as a profession and livelihood and the book as a commercial product.

Before the program ended, certificates were awarded to the speakers. Closing remarks were delivered by Prof. Grace Celeste Subido, the adviser of Literati.

This event was moderated by Ms. Josephine Hagad, president of Literati. FILCOLS' IP Made E-Z was coordinated by Filipinas Copyright Licensing Society (FILCOLS) in cooperation with University Student Council- College of Arts and Communication Committee and UP Literati.

Norway's NORCODE and KOPINOR sponsored the event.
