In celebration of the World Book and Copyright Day, we invite you to attend the free seminar “Writers’ Rights,” 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Top Shelf, Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City on April 23, 2014. The main speaker is Atty. Louie Andrew C. Calvario of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL).
The event is organized by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) in partnership with UNESCO, Department of Education, IPOPHL, Optical Media Board (OMB), Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (FILSCAP), and the Filipinas Copyright Licensing Society, Inc. (FILCOLS).
Other activities include a seminar on “How to write a book” sponsored by CentralBooks, a multi-media industry exhibit and showcase by the NBDB, and a jazz performance. Kindly refer to the attached program for more details.
